Leave the Boys Behind is being introduced this winter with two backcountry hut trips. Skiers and snowshoers will be guided out of the resort and into backcountry terrain.
This initiative will encourage togetherness, laughter and learning through unique female-only backcountry hut trips throughout the 2015 winter season.

Cost Includes: Logistics, guides, instruction (when needed), help arranging local transportation to trailhead, beacon, probe, shovel, hut fees, food, and all permits.

Introduction to Skinning or Splitboarding
Available in one, two or three day progressions

Learn the fundamentals of skinning (alpine ski touring) or splitboarding in this progressive course offering from LBB. Skills covered will include uphill safety, basics of backcountry safety, nutrition, equipment familiarization, use and care.

Aspen Alpine Guides has been providing quality mountain guiding adventures year-round in Aspen, Colorado since 1987. Leave the Boys Behind hosts backcountry adventure trips throughout the year that include skiing, snowboarding, backcountry hut trips, mountain and road biking, trail running, backpacking, peak climbs, avalanche courses, and international treks. All trips are designed by and led by women for women. We also specialize in creating custom backcountry adventures for individuals and groups of all abilities and sizes.
Leave the Boys Behind operates under Aspen Alpine Guides, which has provided quality mountain guiding adventures year-round in Aspen, Colorado since 1987.
